Window Crop Reference Guide
Here's an Example of a full-color Window Crop Reference guide that you will receive inside your package, matched to each of your print-only compositions (P-14, P-20 and P-28).
The Guide has two copies of the print. Give the Framer Copy portion to the frame shop as a visual guide to my 'window crop,' which is another way of describing: the portion of the print that is revealed through the top mat window. (Keep the Customer Copy as a reference for yourself.)
If possible, I recommend that you arrange a time to approve the framer's print positioning and view it under the window mat prior to their dry mounting the print to the back mat. For example, click here to see how Michael's, a national retailer, sets up appointments for its framing customers.
